Just called the office number to request a copy of my records. Xavier, or whatever the persons name was, was very rude and kept going back and forth with me, as I was trying to figure out how I could receive my records. He spoke over me and became very sarcastic by asking me where do I work after confusing the conversation. It was very simple. I asked if I could receive my treatment plan records, Xavier stated he does not have access to those records. I attempted to ask how I could go about receiving them. I was confused after he said “that’s an office/doctors issue, because I thought I was calling the office and asked him if this was the office. He spoke over me and I tried to stop him, but he kept going on with his sarcasm. After that, I finally got him to receive my email (after asking him to send the form to my email and him stating “we’ll I don’t have your email”, and me responding “well that’s why I called and why I am on the phone. It is that simple, but you made it difficult”.) Another thing, the dentists husband will talk and try to sell you into paying more and outside of your insurance for about and hour or so, the wait time is always more than an hour. You might want to cancel your schedule for the day because it literally will take more than 5 hours at this dentist. I do not recommend. At all! Also, expect a late night call for confirmation from the same Xavier guy. He likes to call people late at night to confirm appointments, which is very unprofessional. Then again, the entire dental facility is unprofessional and unorganized, which is why I never returned.

Bad....the waiting time takes so long the service is quite slow It takes hours for a simple cleaning once the tool used to suck my saliva fell on the floor and the dentist picked it up and stuck it right back in my mouth how un hygienic for a dentists office don’t you think? EDIT/RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE: Thank you for your response to my review from 6 years ago. I want to clarify a few points: 1. The name associated with my email does not reflect my actual name, which explains why you couldn't find me in your system. This doesn't invalidate my experience. 2. I stand by my claim about the incident with the saliva suction tool. While I was young at the time, the memory is vivid and concerning. I understand your office's stated procedures, but mistakes can happen, and in this case, it did. 3. Your response comes across as dismissive and unprofessional. Doubting a patient's experience, especially a young person's, is not appropriate customer service. 4. I appreciate that you have high standards for hygiene, but my experience did not reflect that. It's important to acknowledge that even with the best intentions, errors can occur. After reflecting on this incident for some time, I felt it was important to share my experience to ensure it doesn't happen to others. I hope this clarifies my perspective and encourages your office to take all patient feedback seriously, regardless of whether you can immediately identify the patient in your system.

Unorganized and unprofessional. On 1/8 I receive a call at 8:30pm at night confirming my 1/10 appointment in which I confirm. On 1/9 I receive a TEXT at 9:00pm at night saying “ From - Water Brook Dental (Columbia Heights) It will be closed tomorrow so please don't come to the office” I find this to be very unprofessional as a day prior I just confirmed the appointment and then to send a text, not offer an apology and explanation or another time/date for another appointment makes it even worse. 0/10 recommend. After reading the other comments it appears as if this office is short staffed and the front desk staff needs to be trained in proper customer service after this I agree.

I and my son came to this dentist's office for regular teeth cleaning. I'm really happy... The way she cleans and treats us was a professional and had very good knowledge. I will refer friends to Water brook dental clinic. Good job. Thanks!!!

I honestly wish I could give them 0 stars, but I would advise you to find another dentist. I arrived on time for my appointment and sat in the reception area for almost an hour, once I said something, I then was moved to the exam room, where I also sat for almost an hour. No one said anything, and when I approached the room where the “dentist” and I’m guessing her assistant were, the dentist had NOTHING to say. Talk about unprofessionalism! As a first impression I will NOT be back, and I suggest you don’t go.
