Allyway G5 StarI moved here from Florida not long ago. Found Dr Bergman’s office and called for a consultation. The staff on the phone and in person were and are great. Very patience and knowledgeable. Got my consultation w Dr Berman. I felt very comfortable and free to ask questions. Needless to say I started my treatment and I found my dentist! Thank youThursday 8th May 2025
Jade Smith1 StarI’ve been coming to the dentist, Dr. Berman, for years, first for an Invisalign treatment and then continued regular dental check-in. After I completed my Invisalign, I realized my two front teeth now looked different because one had a bonding from when I broke my tooth as a child. After the Invisalign, I asked if I could redo my bonding on the chipped tooth to make it uniform with the other one. Several treatments where proposed to me: whitening, gingivectomy and veneers. I told them I really don’t believe I need veneers and I don’t feel comfortable with it. After doing the gingivectomy - a service you are meant to pay for out of pocket over $200 —, we discussed the bonding options again. Dr. Berman described a new method of bonding that would be applied to my 6 front teeth. I didn’t really understand the treatment and not sure why I needed all 6 fixed rather than fixing the one tooth that was previously chipped. One of the administrators (Michelle who is always a gem) very kindly explained the options to me, and I asked for a quote of all of them, but she also told Dr. Berman I mostly just wanted my one tooth bonded to which Dr. Berman said to my face after I paid for one of a series of treatment she recommended “No, then find another dentist. I pass.” This comes to my complete surprise after no discussion or explanation and after I had the gingivectomy treatment done in anticipation of doing re-bonding with Dr. Berman. I found this not only rude but unprofessional and frankly extremely deceiving AFTER I completed the pre-requisite treatment to the bonding. So I’ll be doing just that, finding another dentist after 4 years. I’m extremely disappointed and feel rather hurt by this interaction. As a business, sure you’re entitled to decide what services you want to provide but it’s also incumbent upon you as a business to fully discuss and explain treatment options with patients without judgement. Now I’m concerned I didn’t even need the gingivectomy and unclear what my post-care plan is if I have been told to find another dentist. Cheers.Wednesday 7th May 2025
Changjian Wang1 StarNew patient attention: you will be charged with comprehensive oral evaluation(D0150), which may or may not be fully covered twice a year like periodic exam(D0120). In my case, I need to pay out of pocket $58 for the examination fee since my insurance only covers D0150 once per 5 year. So be careful even if you confirm with the front desk multiple times no paid out of pocket fee. You might still get some surprised bill someday.Monday 31st March 2025
