As a person who genuinely dreads the dentist, I'm so thrilled to have found tend. The staff is great at easing anxiety, and didn't make me feel judged at all. Gorgeous, clean space, basically zero wait time, and the option to watch a show with noise cancelling headphones during the cleaning was absolutely amazing. thank you! Because of my absolute hatred of the dentist, it had admittedly been a few years since I’d had a cleaning and they found a decent number of cavities they will have to fill but they were so nice and chill about the whole thing and didn’t make me feel embarrassed about the number of fillings I was going to need to get. When I came in, the team was so gentle with my cleaning and I never felt judged. I didnt get flossed shamed and when it came time to review my teeth, the dentist took the time to show me my xrays, where my cavity was (no dentist has ever done this for me) which I really appreciated. New Patient! Extremely nice, welcoming, and friendly front desk staff. Very clean, modern, and comfortable feel. My hygienist was friendly kind, efficient and did a great job. The Dentist I saw after my cleaning had an amazing "bedside manner". Checked me out, said all was good, asked if I had any questions, gave me some advice on some prior tooth issues. Would definitely recommend. ADA accessible!

Office is in an easy to get to location on U Street NW. The Staff were friendly and helpful. The vibe of the office was professional and laid back so any nerves you may have are eased rather quickly. The dentist, himself, was very insightful and made things easy to understand. My overall experience was great and looking forward to going back for my next appointment.

I came in on an emergency appointment with the worst toothache. The team was beyond kind and understanding. I left with zero pain and a plan to get a crown. Dr. Hal Belok is the best. He’s now going to be my new dentist.

I visited their Ballston location for my cleaning service and that they did check my x-rays and said I need to do 8 fillings!!! which is crazy and not possible. I ask for my x-rays to be send to me so I could show it to my uncle who is a dentist but lives over seas. My uncle said he could only see 3 small cavities and is not sure why they said that. I immediately knew I need to see an other DR. I still needed to fix those 3 teeth so I called they and asked about their availability with a different Doctor and they had availability in this (U Street) location The day I visited the DR said my teeth are so damage!! and if she tries to fix them with filling teeth is chance that they break!!! And they offer me a different plan which cost about $2000 with insurance!!!! how crazy. I said I’m not interested and I only willing to do filling and they said they can fix one teeth with filling and when I agreed to fix that one teeth they said they only fix one side which had a very small cavity on top and they are not going to fx the other side with filling so basically they didn’t even fix one teeth ! what a scammer!!! anyways I ended up paying the price they asked me and they said I’m not owing anything else. I ended up going to an other DR pay an other visit and pay for x-rays and services again. The other DR was shook when I mentioned they telling me about $2000 plan and said my cavities are very small and they won’t break also couldn’t see why they were telling me i needed to fix 8 teeth. After a moth I received an other bill through their tend app for the service I didn’t even receive and had to go to an other DR. This is crazy !!! they are trying to scam people and take their money anyways they can. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. They are scammers. And you are going to waist your time and money by visiting them.
